What is Coverflex? 🤔

Coverflex Wallet is a solution that allows companies to maximise their savings and employees to maximise their compensation. As an employee, you'll have access to a smart card with two balances: the meal balance and the benefits balance, which covers different categories. You'll also have access to the Coverflex app, where you can manage your account, check your balance, pay for your children’s childcare, and much more!

Here you will find the frequently asked questions, where we explain all the features of our app, how you can check your balance and account movements, how you can use your balance, and the perks of using Coverflex.

Onboarding

Let’s start your Coverflex experience! 🚀

The first step is to create your Coverflex account. By now you should have received an e-mail from your company inviting you to join Coverflex 👇🏻 - just click on "Create account" and follow the steps!

If you haven't received this e-mail, please contact the person responsible for Coverflex at your company.

Once you've chosen a password, you'll need to enter your IBAN and your address. If your company has chosen to have the card sent to your personal address rather than the company address, you will also need to confirm the address where you would like to receive your Coverflex card 💳. The card can take up to 12 working days to arrive at the indicated address.

Meal 🍽️

Coverflex Meal is much more than a meal card: it's a self-service, 100% digital experience from the start.

You have access to the card and the Coverflex app, the card works in restaurants, coffee shops, bars within the VISA network, meaning there’s no closed network of partners.

Fun fact: you can also use it in apps like Glovo, UberEats, Too Good to Go or Just Eat! Just add the card directly to the app where you want to use it.

• Can I change the PIN code of my Coverflex card?
  • Yes! You can change the PIN anytime through the card management section of your Coverflex profile in the mobile app or the website.
• I tried to use my Coverflex card in a restaurant and it was refused! Now what?
  • There is no closed network of restaurants where your Coverflex card is accepted. Most likely, the card was refused because the establishment doesn't have a VISA payment terminal.
• Can I request a new card?
  • If you no longer have the card with you, you should block or cancel it to prevent other people from using it. You can find these options in your app, in the section about your card. Requesting a new card is very simple: just contact us through the chat or email us at [e-mail].

Benefits 👌🏻

Our benefits selection is a key component of the Coverflex experience. In this section of your Coverflex app, you can access the benefits your company has made available to you and the amount you can spend on them.

We advise you to check your company's benefits policy so that you are aware of the rules for using your Benefits balance. You can do so using your Coverflex app, in the tab "Benefits" → "Benefits policy". If the benefits policy is not available in this section of the app, please contact the person responsible for Coverflex in your company.

• One or more of the benefits on this list are not available in my Coverflex app! Why is this?

  • Of all the benefits that Coverflex offers, there may be one or more that are not available in your app if the company has chosen not to activate them.

• How can I use each of the benefits?

  • You can check how each benefit is used as defined by your company: access the Coverflex app, click on each benefit and select the symbol "ℹ️", which appears in the top right corner of the screen. In general, Coverflex benefits can be used in the following ways:
    • Coverflex card: the Coverflex card allows you to spend on several categories of benefits. Depending on the establishment's activity code (CAE), the expense is either accepted and categorised or refused.
    • Coverflex app: some benefits can be used directly in the Coverflex app (for example, you can pay for childcare directly in your app). In this case, your balance is updated immediately.

• What are the tax advantages of these benefits?

  • All the benefits available at Coverflex are exempt from personal income tax (IRPF).
